This policy covers cellphoneandrepair.com and the store at 14631 W Warren Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126. It describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, phone number, email, delivery address, and details about your phone when you request a quote, book a repair, reserve a phone, or place an order.
  • Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment step.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, items added to the cart, and similar interactions, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics using cookies and similar technologies. This may also be shared with advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta to measure our ads.

How we use it

  • To fulfill orders, reservations and repairs and to text or email you about them.
  • To answer your questions and send you the quote you asked for.
  • To understand how the site is used and to measure advertising.
  • To comply with laws that apply to buying used phones, including record keeping and ID verification.

Texts

When you give us your mobile number we text you about your order, quote or repair. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. We do not send marketing texts unless you separately agree.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business (payment processing, email and text delivery, analytics, hosting), when required by law, or to protect against fraud. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and your choices

You can block cookies in your browser and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you by calling (313) 200-6000 or emailing hello@cellphoneandrepair.com.

Data from phones we buy or repair

We factory reset every phone we buy before it is resold. During repairs we do not access your personal data beyond what is needed to test the repair, and we never copy it off the device unless you ask us to for a data transfer.
